The iniBuilds A340 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 brings one of the most iconic long-haul aircraft of its era into the simulator with an exceptional level of detail. Every aspect of this four-engine widebody has been carefully crafted using real performance data and pilot input, delivering an experience that captures the unique character and challenge of flying this aircraft across the globe. From startup to shutdown, the aircraft provides a fantastic experience throughout every phase of flight. Systems have been carefully recreated, including fully configurable autosave options, CPDLC integration with platforms like Hoppie, and geo-specific GPS jamming that affects TCAS and GPWS. The Electronic Flight Bag monitors oil, hydraulics, brakes, tires, batteries, and the APU, while legacy avionics like ISIS, standby instruments, and EIS1/EIS2 cockpit options reflect both classic CRT and modern glass displays. Over 100 ECAM pages cover critical systems such as electrical, fuel, engines, hydraulics, ice protection, and navigation, complemented by realistic failure scenarios that challenge you! The flight deck, cabin, and exterior combine to showcase the aircraft’s scale and presence. The cockpit features detailed avionics with interactive controls, while the cabin offers dynamic lighting, realistic interiors, and the “preighter” cargo configuration option. A bespoke Echo 19 Audio sound suite, paired with the distinctive tone of the CFM56 engines, completes the experience, delivering an authentic and immersive audio environment.
