Hemet-Ryan has a main asphalt runway (5-23) that is 4,315' x 100' and smaller asphalt runway (4-22) 2,014' x 25' mainly used for Sailplane operations. The Cal Fire Air Attack base has been at Hemet-Ryan since 1957. Located at the base are two Grumman S2F3AT Turbo Trackers carrying 1,200 gallons of fire retardant, one Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk carrying 1,000 gallons of water and one OV-10 Bronco Air Attack (ATGS) platform.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Aviation unit has a hangar on the Southwest end of the field which is home to a fleet of AS-350 Helicopters and one H-145 Rescue Helicopter.
The scenery is a detailed reproduction of the whole airport including the solar field on the approach end to runway 23.
