The real world DoubleEnder was a home built in a joint effort by Alec D. Wild, Eric Lewis (LewAero Works), Engineered by Douglas Keller, and later iterated/modified by Peter Anderson. This unique aircraft started development in the mid 2000s as a Piper PA-18 and then made its public reveal in various Super Cub Forums. The aircraft gets its name from its unique “pusher-puller” set of in-line Rotax 9 series engines. It can often be seen equipped with a custom built belly pod that doubles as an auxiliary fuel tank. A notable feature of the aircraft’s design included a large bubble canopy, offering the pilot a stunning view from the cockpit. Other design elements included a fully actuating horizontal stabilizer for trim, 35” bush tires equipped for off-airport operations, and automatic leading edge slats on the primary wing surface in addition to large spoilerons that greatly assist roll rate during flight. The DoubleEnder also featured a fully free-castering tailwheel that allowed for precise ground maneuvering in very tight spaces; perfect for sandbars in the backcountry. Our digital recreation of such an iconic aircraft seemed fitting for our team as our current portfolio consists heavily of some of the more eccentric airframe designs. Our past projects take a heavy emphasis on STOL/Bush aircraft and our goal with the DoubleEnder was to produce the most accurate digital recreation of this bird with all the current information publicly available. This project is considered a “flagship” release with heavy emphasis on systems depth, dynamic and reactive wear/tear that shows visually on the model in addition to affecting aircraft systems and handling. Packed into this package is a lot of the existing technology developed during the Wilga in addition to all new technology never seen before in any Got Friends product.

The carrier deck quakes as a deep, guttural roar cuts through the noise and demands respect. The deafening thumping of 18-cylinders is instantly recognisable … the Zero Killer. Ace Maker.
The F6F Hellcat.
The logical successor & evolution to the F4F Wildcat, the Hellcat was the monstrous carrier-borne aircraft of the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. The Hellcat first appeared operationally in August 1943, proving its value immediately and taking part in some of the greatest air battles of the Pacific; from the Caroline Islands, to the Battle of the Philippines & many more. The aircraft was incredibly successful in battle, accounting for more than half of all airborne kills from the US Navy. The F6F claimed 5,156 total kills with an extraordinary kill ratio of 19:1, creating 307 Hellcat Pilot aces in the process.
The Hellcat is easily distinguished on the deck by its folding wings & the unmistakeable earth-shaking roar of the enormous 2000+ hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-10W Double Wasp Radial engine. The engine is an air-cooled radial piston engine, with 18 cylinders, a 2-speed supercharger and water injection for additional power demands. This monstrous engine drives a 3-bladed Hamilton Standard Propeller with an enormous 4m diameter, capable of powering the aircraft up to speeds of 391mph (629km/h).
Capable of reaching 20,000ft in under 8 minutes, with a combat range of almost 1000 miles and a service ceiling topping 37,300ft, the Hellcat can get off the deck and into the fight quickly. Prepare yourself to experience the thrill of a catapult launch off the deck. Once you’re in the sky, the real challenge remains: the terror of landing back down on the deck safely. Put yourself to the ultimate test of bravery & skill and see if you can fly the Hellcat as successfully as the great pilots of WWII.
Featuring all-new ground handling physics developed in-house, custom thermodynamics modelling, cockpit shake effects, realistic water injection & automated flaps (a ground-breaking feature of the time), supercharger modelling and much, much more. The F6F Hellcat has been truly brought to life in MSFS!

Runway extended to 2000 m
Two new taxiways
The main apron very enlarged compared to the current
Start of works for the construction of the new General Aviation terminal, scheduled for 2025
The works will continue, and in 2026 the "Costa d’Amalfi" should be finished with:
Runway extended to 2200 m
New main terminal
New GA terminal
ILS navigation system (assumed)
New airport buildings
New car parkings
To celebrate this "new" reality in the Italian airport scene, and anticipate the preview for fans, BarelliMsfsAddon has prepared the new addon dedicated to Salerno, divided into two separate mods: Salerno 2024 and Salerno 2026. These are two mods to install as usual in the MSFS Community folder, obviously NOT at the same time. When publishing the 2024 version, it is important to specify that:
Official Enav cards are not yet available, so the markings and signage are similar to the current ones, with the appropriate variants; as soon as official news will be ready, which may however delay, you will be provided with a free update. Regarding the 2026 version, it is specified that:
Regarding the new terminal only architectural renderings are available, as officially presented in 2023, and based on these was created the new terminal for the simulator.
Regarding the GA terminal there is no info, so the building was "invented", in the place where it will be built, inspired by existing GA terminals (Rome Ciampino and Olbia); also in this case, when and if news will be available, we will update.
It is assumed, reading between the lines of the official statements, that there will be the subsidy of an ILS on runway 05, the frequency of which was imagined as 108. 50 MHz.
The new parkings of the cars have always been deducted from the official renderings.

Located in the heart of the Bay of Almeria, eight kilometers from the city, it is perfectly situated with the rest of the tourist destinations in the province, such as Cabo de Gata, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, El Ejido or Mojacar. During the 1990s, Almeria Airport grew steadily until it reached almost one million passengers in 2000. To adapt to this demand, the passenger terminal building was remodeled in 1995, in 2002 the new cargo terminal building was inaugurated and in 2009 the new departures building came into service. TDM Scenery Design have recreated this airport as close to reality as possible, high definition textures and PBR, aircraft and unique realistic objects, all of this as well as being fully optimized.
