The craft, which seats four, including the pilot, took its maiden flight on December 4, 1952 and was introduced a decade later after a number of refinements. A total of 29 were built, and some continue to fly to this day. The Riviera is a favorite among adventurous pilots as it open up wide horizons of travel with its ability to operate off of either land or water. The FN. 333 Riviera is composed of a stout hull-fuselage that features a high wing and a twin-boom tail assembly. It has retractable tricycle landing gear, a pusher configuration propulsion system, and retractable floats that seat into its wing tips. The amphibian measures 23 feet, 11 inches long and has a wingspan of 34 feet. It is powered by a 6-cylinder Continental IO-470-P piston engine that produces up to 260 horsepower and drives a 3-blade constant-speed propeller. The Riviera has a range of 560 miles, a ceiling of 20,000 feet above sea level, and a climb rate of 1,280 feet per minute. It requires 900 feet of take-off run on land and 1,380 feet on water. It cruises at 165 miles per hour and has a top speed of 180. The FN. 333 Riviera is a machine built for aviation-explorers. Agile, with just enough power and low-speed control to get into and out of tight locations, this flying boat brings some of the globe’s farthest-flung destinations within reach.

The Hawk T1 is a British-built single engine jet trainer with a two-man tandem cockpit. First flown in 1974, the Hawk has served as an advanced training aircraft for nearly 40 years. The design has proved to be highly successful, with over 900 examples of more than 10 variants sold to air forces in 18 countries, including the UK, Finland, India and Saudi Arabia. The Hawk T1 variant, first delivered to the RAF in 1976, continues to serve as an advanced jet and weapons trainer. Possibly the most well-known Hawk T1s are those flown by the world famous RAF Red Arrows display team, which has been flying the Hawk T1 since 1979.

SYSTEMS
Almost all real systems have been modelled and working as the real thing Flight dynamics modelled 99% close to the real aircraft; fully tested and validated by qualified real-world F-104 pilot Fully functional and close to real NASARR R-15, A/G and A/A mode with: - STT (Single track target) - LOCK-ON - ATTACK - GROUND MAP PENCIL - GROUND MAP SPOILER - CONTOUR MAP - TERRAIN AVOIDANCE Aerodynamic pitch up, inertia coupling and BLC system reproduced Payload drop actually changes aircraft weight, balance and drag as well Inertial navigator Litton LN-3 fully implemented
DDI (DYNAMIC DRAG INDEX)
The SSW F/RF-104G uses the Dynamic Drag Index concept; i. e. when you load/drop external loads not only is the GW changed but also the drag coefficient is affected and the model aerodynamics change accordingly. This is particularly important in the F-104 where external loads affect greatly the dynamic behaviour of the model.
SOUND SET
A custom sound set has been developed from scratch, using live recording to give you a full immersion into the Zipper environment. If you are a Zipper fan,you will enjoy staying outside and 'playing' with the throttle, listening to it's unique voice.
