The F6F Hellcat.
The logical successor & evolution to the F4F Wildcat, the Hellcat was the monstrous carrier-borne aircraft of the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. The Hellcat first appeared operationally in August 1943, proving its value immediately and taking part in some of the greatest air battles of the Pacific; from the Caroline Islands, to the Battle of the Philippines & many more. The aircraft was incredibly successful in battle, accounting for more than half of all airborne kills from the US Navy. The F6F claimed 5,156 total kills with an extraordinary kill ratio of 19:1, creating 307 Hellcat Pilot aces in the process.
The Hellcat is easily distinguished on the deck by its folding wings & the unmistakeable earth-shaking roar of the enormous 2000+ hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-10W Double Wasp Radial engine. The engine is an air-cooled radial piston engine, with 18 cylinders, a 2-speed supercharger and water injection for additional power demands. This monstrous engine drives a 3-bladed Hamilton Standard Propeller with an enormous 4m diameter, capable of powering the aircraft up to speeds of 391mph (629km/h).
Capable of reaching 20,000ft in under 8 minutes, with a combat range of almost 1000 miles and a service ceiling topping 37,300ft, the Hellcat can get off the deck and into the fight quickly. Prepare yourself to experience the thrill of a catapult launch off the deck. Once you’re in the sky, the real challenge remains: the terror of landing back down on the deck safely. Put yourself to the ultimate test of bravery & skill and see if you can fly the Hellcat as successfully as the great pilots of WWII.
Featuring all-new ground handling physics developed in-house, custom thermodynamics modelling, cockpit shake effects, realistic water injection & automated flaps (a ground-breaking feature of the time), supercharger modelling and much, much more. The F6F Hellcat has been truly brought to life in MSFS!

Wind, gusts and variability control (surface and aloft, up to 60,000ft)
Cloud layer control
Precipitation control
Ground snow cover control
Temperature and humidity control
Barometric pressure control with advanced temperature-adjusted pressure effects (appropriate corrections required for safe and/or expected IFR terminal procedures in colder or hotter temperatures)
Visibility simulation through advanced humidity control and fog layer generation and intelligent visibility graduation and smoothing
Smooth cloud and conditions transitions with configurable smoothing rate
Cloud scene scattering and variation control for variety within the preset depiction area
Weather-cell-based presentation with surface data prioritization based on flight plan
Transitions handling (updates conditions smartly depending on flight plan and flight stage)
Passive Depiction ModePassive mode is used with live weather and allows MSFS’s internal live weather depiction to take full control of weather depiction in the simulator, while Active Sky FS provides Active Air Effects and all other non-depiction features (mapping, planning, voice features, conditions report, web companion app, etc. ) This can provide better regional variation and cloud variations outside of Preset control, recommended for LIVE WEATHER VFR and casual flights where visuals and effects are more important than weather conditions accuracy.

Horten IX / Ho 229
The Horten Ho 229 was a German prototype fighter/bomber that was designed by Reimar and Walter Horten during World War II. It was one of the first flying wing aircraft to be powered by jet engines, and had several remarkable features, such as: It was very fast and agile, capable of reaching speeds of up to 977 km/h (607 mph) and performing tight turns and rolls. It could also fly at high altitudes, up to 15,000 m (49,000 ft), making it difficult to intercept by allied fighters. It was very stealthy, due to its low radar cross-section and its use of a special wood-based material called "charcoal mixture" that absorbed radar waves. It was estimated that the Ho 229 would have been invisible to radar at distances greater than 80% of its range. It was very advanced, incorporating features such as an ejection seat, a pressurized cockpit, a tricycle landing gear. It also had a sophisticated weapons system, consisting of two 30 mm cannons and two 500 kg (1,100 lb) bombs. The Ho 229 was the only design that came close to meeting the "3×1000" requirement issued by Hermann Göring, the head of the Luftwaffe, for a light bomber that could carry 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) of bombs over 1,000 km (620 mi) at 1,000 km/h (620 mph). However, the project faced many challenges and delays, such as the lack of suitable production facilities, the interference of rival companies, the shortage of materials and fuel, and the Allied bombing raids. Only three prototypes were built, and only one of them flew, before the project was captured by the American forces in 1945. The Ho 229 was a remarkable aircraft that was ahead of its time, and may have influenced many later designs, such as the Northrop B-2 Spirit and the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk. It is considered by some to be the first true stealth aircraft in history. The only surviving prototype, the Ho 229 V3, is currently on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D. C

Fully custom objects with photoreal PBR textures from various visits to the base
Full night lighting including custom taxi lights, runway lights and approach light.
Full custom ground poly.
Custom terrain is using the latest mesh from the UK update
Static Eurofighter Typhoons
Notes
The scenery requires you have the UK World update installed for the terrain.
If data is turned off and offline mode is used, then some trees may disappear while others appear where they are not supposed to and you may also experience terrain issues.
The scenery is a updated version of my freeware version which is no longer supported and was not available to XBOX users.
The updates include:
New Ground textures, which utilise the higher resolution sat imagery.
Updated and improved night lighting
Added the new 12 SQ buildings
Added a custom approach lighting system.
Added a custom mesh rather than the flatten on the previous version.
Updated several models including hangars.
New control tower and TMF Hangar models and textures.
Added the red and white metal fence at the 07 end.
Added much more clutter and detail around the base.
The scenery will be updated over time updating many other models and textures. A big thanks to John Young and Ricardo Morilla for the use of some of their models and textures including Johns excellent static models. It is important to note that the static Typhoons were kindly donated (not for profit) by John Young and are a conversion from his excellent AI models from previous simulations.
