At the end of the war, in 1944, the Germans, leaving the airport, destroyed it. In the same year, the airport was taken over by the Russians. Then, in 1949-1959 it was rebuilt and made available for air transport. At that time, as well as in the 1970s, there was a significant rise in domestic flights - to Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Koszalin, Wroclaw and Szczecin, thus allowing the airport to serve more than 100 000 passengers per year. In 1974, the Airport became an international airport, and an alternate airport for the Warsaw-Okecie Airport. In 1987, the State Enterprise "Polish Airports" was founded, grouping all the airports in the country. The Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport was within its structures to the end of June 2009. The most awaited investment in the "Rzeszów-Jasionka" Airport was the construction of a new passenger terminal building. After 15 months of construction, on 8 May 2012, the passenger service was moved to the new passenger terminal, which significantly changed the image of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. One building combined departures and arrivals, which were supported by technical and commercial infrastructure. The New Terminal Building has three floors above ground and one underground. The "Rzeszów-Jasionka" Airport, as the furthest to the southeast communication airport in Poland, has an opportunity to develop further in the near future to open a wider window on the world for our region.

Herzogenaurach EDQH airfield is located northwest of the city of Herzogenaurach and lies at 1070 ft (326 m above sea level).
The original airfield has a historical background dating back to 1935, when it was used for the purpose of a military airfield - at that time fighter squadrons of the Luftwaffe were stationed there. After the war, the airfield was used as a Herzo Base under the flag of the Allied occupation forces and it was not until 1960 that the first flying club set out to establis... The original airfield has a historical background dating back to 1935, when it was used for the purpose of a military airfield - at that time fighter squadrons of the Luftwaffe were stationed there. After the war, the airfield was used as a Herzo Base under the flag of the Allied occupation forces and it was not until 1960 that the first flying club set out to establish its own airfield, at that time with a grass runway. In 1961, a 700 m grass runway was then accepted by the authorities and in 1970 the airfield was upgraded to a commercial airfield and with it the runway was finally paved.
Today Herzogenaurach is a popular destination for pilots. There are several farm buildings, a tower as well as a large hangar and a restaurant. There is also a refuelling facility for the respective aircraft types.
The restaurant with its beautiful beer garden offers a wonderful view directly onto the runway. The approach to Herzogenaurach is demanding, because the airfield is located in the middle of the control zone of the Nuremberg Airport EDDN.
Approaches and departures are permitted up to a maximum of 3500 ft, since above this level the control zone C begins as controlled airspace - directly adjacent to the airfield is the control zone and thus the airspace of Nuremberg Airport, which may not be flown without permission.
The runway alignments of the airfield are runways 08 and 26, the asphalt runway has a dimension of 700 x 20 m.
Every building as well as playground and refueling facility at the airfield has been modeled after the original down to the last detail

It is connected all year round to Palermo and Catania. The 1800 meter-long runway can welcome aircraft up to A320/737 size. Enjoy the beautiful approaches to RWY 26, overflying very detailed custom cliffs, or to RWY 08 with the small Lampedusa harbour and city on your left side. Pantelleria LICG is a volcanic Italian island located 100 km away from Sicily and 70 km from Tunisia. You are in for a challenge when landing at Pantelleria! The area can be very windy, and the airport lies near the Montagna Grande mountain, which can create severe winds around the airfield. With an eye for detail, this airport was created on the basis of photo documentation obtained by a in person visits to the airport (May 2022), o... Poprad-Tatry Airport LZTT is an international airport in Poprad - Slovak Republic. It lies at an altitude of 718 m above sea level. m. and is the highest airport for short and medium-haul aircraft in Central Europe. The goal of this project was to create the most reliable scenery of Poprad-Tatry International Airport near city of Slovak Republic Poprad. With an eye for detail, this airport was created on the basis of photo documentation obtained by a in person visits to the airport (May 2022), on the basis of satellite images and accurate information from the AIP SR (airport maps). So, the airport was created from the most up-to-date data available at the time of creation. The beginnings of today's international airport in Poprad date back to 1938. As part of defense measures before the Second World War, a large field airport was established near the village. From 1943, the regular state service Bratislava-Sliač-Poprad-Prešov started flying from Poprad. With the approaching World Championships in classic skiing at Štrbské Pleso (February 1970), the pressure to improve the quality of all services in the vicinity of the High Tatras grew. A grass runway was paved and a new administrative building was added to the airport. Joint-stock company Letisko Poprad – Tatry, a. s. was established like other small airports (Piešťany, Sliač and Žilina) on January 1, 2005 based on registration in the Commercial Register of the Prešov District Court. On 3 December 2005, SkyEurope Airlines launched a regular service to London-Stansted Airport, which it operated until its collapse at the end of August 2009. Poprad-Tatry Airport did not receive a replacement for this canceled service until 26 October 2014, when London-Luton Airport began fly the Hungarian company Wizz Air. In 2008, Poprad-Tatry Airport carried out the reconstruction of the lighting approach system of runway 27 and the extension of the arrival terminal, which was carried out with the funds of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in accordance with the approved Operational Program. On January 31, 2014, a new departure hall was ceremonially opened, which meets all Schengen conditions. Its construction cost almost 2. 62 million euros. On March 29, 2022, the airport put into operation the modern Rosenbauer Panther 6×6 firefighting vehicle, which is designed to actively fight aircraft fires and to assist and protect passengers during emergency evacuation.

John Flewellen and his family bought the old dragstrip and turned it into a private runway. In the early 1970s, the airstrip became an FAA-certified public airport with the designation 1A0. In 2002, a group of investors with a passion for flying bought Dallas Bay Skypark and ran it until its closure in 2021.Dallas Bay Skypark began as the Optimist Club Drag Strip back in the late 50s and survived until the early 60s.
