By utilizing inter-process communication with the simulator via fine granular control, you will experience automated, dynamic, and smooth weather transitions from real-world reporting metar stations.
Weather Force also includes a wide range of proprietary dynamic, changing (non-static)weather scenarios. These scenarios are unlike the static weather presets that ship withMicrosoft Flight Simulator.
WITH REAL-TIME METAR DATA AS THE FOUNDATION, THE WEATHER FORCE WEATHER ENGINE PROVIDES A MORE REALISTIC WEATHER EXPERIENCE.
The metar data is updated 6x an hour and downloaded directly from NOAA and can provide accurate results within a 1/8th mile of a given point.
Weather Force utilizes uniquely built algorithms to combine both metar and model data to cover sparse areas such as deserts and oceans.
GFS (Global Forecast System) Model data is downloaded twice daily from NCEP and provides key atmospheric conditions to give a snapshot of temperature and winds aloft.
REMARKABLY UNIQUEWeather Force reads remarks provided with live metar reports to determine if storms are near the aerodrome. Thus, even if the automated metar may indicate clear conditions, if remarks indicate storms nearby, storms will be generated near the reporting station as in real life.
POWERFUL WEATHER SEARCHIf you are looking to fly at a particular location or in certain weather conditions, Weather Force includes a handy weather search feature that allows you to search by airport or by weather criteria.
Dynamic Changing Weather Scenarios (DCWS)To add even more interest, Weather Force comes with dynamic changing weather scenarios (DCWS). These weather scenarios are dynamic, unlike the static default presets in Microsoft Flight Simulator. These Weather Force weather scenarios dynamically change over time and provide various elements of changing weather over the course of your flight. Examples provided below of included scenarios:
• Fair weather• Approaching cold front• Approaching warm front• Hot and humid summer• Lake effect snows• Winter storm• Crisp winter• Breezy• Spring showers
Because DCWS are centralized on the REX servers, REX can periodically add new and exciting scenarios, which will be automatically added to your application without the need to update Weather Force.
Tracking The WeatherIn Weather Force you have the ability to easily track your 10 favorite airports, therefore, clearly identifying what the detailed weather is like at each. If you require a more detailed report, simply click on the ICAO and receive in-depth data about the airport weather conditions.
BEHIND THE SCENES
The GoalWith Microsoft Flight Simulator, we have been provided a powerful weather system as a start. The goal is to provide an even more robust weather environment. The REX developers have worked diligently to render the weather as it should be, yet stay true to the validity of real-world metar data.
Smoothing MechanismIn addition, the REX developers have carefully added a smoothing mechanism to the engine to gradually smooth and transition the weather over time between updates. Of course, you have complete control over the weather update factors as well as transition speed.
Continued and Consistent DevelopmentThe REX developers are dedicated to continuously develop and update Weather Force as new API’s become available from Asobo and Microsoft, thus they have developed an implementary system to deliver program updates quickly and easily to you.
The following is a list of updates coming soon after initial release:

BAe 146 Professional
Following on from their popular Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer and PA-28 family of aircraft for MSFS, Just Flight's in-house team has developed this highly detailed simulation of the 146 regional jet following comprehensive, hands-on research with a real-world aircraft, G-JEAO, which retired from service with British European Airways in 2000 and is now preserved at the de Havilland Aircraft Museum, and the CC. Mk2 and C. Mk3 aircraft of Royal Air Force, 32 (The Royal) Squadron.
Just Flight ...
Just Flight are excited to bring you the 146 ‘Whisper Jet’ – featuring the 100, 200 and 300 series of this classic British airliner. The design process of what was to become the 146-100 began under Hawker Siddeley in 1973, when the iconic high T-tail, short undercarriage, four engines and distinctive airbrake were chosen to produce a regional airliner with short-field performance and quiet operation. The 146-100 first flew in 1981, followed by the stretched 200 series in 1982 and the 300 series in 1988.
The Royal Air Force purchased three 146-100s in 1986 and these were operated by The Queen's Flight, designated the CC. Mk2 ‘Statesman’ and equipped with VIP cabins. The aircraft were used to transport the British royal family and senior members of the UK military and government.
The 146 was also popular with cargo operators due to its excellent capacity and low engine noise, allowing for night flights into city airports. Two cargo variants were developed: the convertible passenger and freight variant (QC) and the freight-only Quiet Trader (QT). The Royal Air Force also operated two 200QC aircraft, designated the C. Mk3.
Eight variants of the 146 are included in this product – the 100 to 300 passenger variants, the 200QC and QT, 300 QT, RAF CC. Mk2 ‘Statesman’ and C. Mk3 – offering a wide variety of configurations, ranges and flight operations across the globe.
The exterior models are stunningly detailed, featuring 8K and 4K textures for incredible clarity and the latest Physical Based Rendering (PBR) material technology to produce realistic metallic, plastic and glass surfaces. Realistic animations include trailing-edge flap mechanisms, spoilers, large tail-mounted airbrake and all passenger and cargo doors.
The Captain and First Officer positions in the cockpit are modelled with hundreds of functional switches, knobs and controls. The aircraft features complex custom-coded systems based on real-world FCOMs, including hydraulic, electrical, fuel and pressurisation, and the cockpit is also fitted with a functional Thrust Management System (TMS) and comprehensive navigation equipment which includes traditional navigation equipment for tracking VORs, NDBs and ILSs, as well as two types of FMS for RNAV navigation.
The aircraft are brought to life with immersive dynamic lighting and 3D Wwise sounds, with unique flight dynamics for each variant and custom effects from condensation and contrails to realistic exterior lighting.
The 146 was flown all around the world and over 40 airline liveries from the UK, USA, Europe and Australia are included, bringing you many iconic airlines and paint schemes.
See the Detailed Description below for full details of all the aircraft features and you can also take a look at the PDF manuals: 146 Professional Operations Manual, UNS-1 FMS Manual, EFB manual.

The airport was renamed Clayton Scott Field in 2005. The airport's northern boundary is Lake Washington and the Will Rogers–Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base. Renton Airport has a floating dock and a launching ramp for conversion from wheeled landings to water takeoffs and landings. The airport is owned by the City of Renton and is a general aviation airport that serves Renton and other nearby communities. It provides regional aviation services for air charter, air taxi, corporate, business, and recreational flyers. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a regional reliever facility. The airport is located approximately 12 miles southeast of downtown Seattle near the south end of Lake Washington. US Customs service is available for both floatplane and wheeled aircraft arriving by water or by land. Renton Airport is adjacent to the Boeing Renton Factory and is the initial point of departure for airplanes produced in that facility. The Boeing Company's Renton, Washington Factory is a facility where the 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8, 737 MAX 9, and 737 MAX 10 models are built. The floor space covered is 1. 1 million square feet (102,000 square meters). The Boeing Renton Factory is built on land reclaimed by the lowering of the level of Lake Washington in 1916. From 1916 until 1936 it belonged to the family of Pioneer Washington Coal Industrialist Charles H. Burnett for whom Burnett Avenue and Burnett Park in Renton are named. Burnett acquired the land intending to use it for coal storage and shipment. Amy Louise Burnett Bond, Charles Burnett's daughter, whose mother died young, was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cranston Potter as the foster sister and godmother of Bertha Potter (Mrs. William Boeing). The Burnett family operated the land as a hay farm. In 1936 Amy Burnett Bond transferred the property back to the state government. It was still mostly semi swamp economically marginal and would cost millions to improve. The property was then transferred by the State of Washington to the federal government at the start of World War II. The Navy Department established an aircraft factory there for the production of the Boeing PBB Sea Ranger flying boat. This order was canceled, however, to free the factory for the production of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, the factory being transferred to the Army in exchange for use of the North American Aviation Kansas City factory for the production of land based North American B-25 Mitchells for the US Marine Corps as PBJ-1s. In the Boeing Renton Factory, the following aircraft were built: B-29 (>1000), C-97 (~1000), Boeing 707/KC-135 (>1000), Boeing 727 (almost 2000), Boeing 737 (11000 and growing), Boeing 747 (3 refurbished) and Boeing 757 (>1000). Renton Municipal Airport covers an area of 170 acres (69 ha) at an elevation of 32 feet (9. 8 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 16/34 with asphalt and concrete surface measuring 5,382 by 200 feet (1,640 m × 61 m). In 2016, the airport had 122,908 aircraft operations, an average of 337 per day: 98% general aviation, 1% air taxi, <1% scheduled commercial, and <1% military. In July 2017, there were 337 aircraft based at this airport: 243 single-engine, 13 multi-engine, 4 jet, and 8 helicopters.

We just wanted to salute this Franco-German aviation emblem.
The development has been conducted along with real pilots and true Transall connoisseurs. A big thanks to the "Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse" in Montélimar, France, that provided access to a retired French C-160R. By inspecting it in every details, we have been able to reproduce an accurate version of the aircraft.
We have put a lot of effort to improve even more our quality standards compared to our previous products. The great complexity of the aircraft and its military-designed systems forced us to adapt our development processes accordingly. Hence, our Transall includes a big amount of bespoke systems and does not re-use existing generic avionics from the simulator.

This airfield has been a gateway to the skies for decades, offering breathtaking views, thrilling adventures, and a unique connection to the island's past.
The Storied History of Dillingham Airfield - Dillingham Airfield, originally known as Mokuleia Airfield, was constructed during World War II as a military airstrip. It was part of the broader defense network designed to protect the Hawaiian Islands from potential threats. Situated on the picturesque North Shore, the airfield played a crucial role during the war, serving as a base for military operations and training exercises. The strategic location, coupled with the island's natural beauty, made it an ideal spot for aviation activities.
After the war, the airfield was renamed Dillingham Airfield in honor of Captain Henry Gaylord Dillingham, a local hero who lost his life during the conflict. Over the years, the airfield transitioned from a military base to a public-use facility, becoming a hub for general aviation, skydiving, and other aerial activities. Its wide runway, unobstructed views, and favorable weather conditions have made it a beloved destination for both local and visiting aviators.
Glider operations are also a major attraction at the airfield. Pilots take advantage of the favorable wind conditions to soar over the North Shore without an engine, offering a peaceful and panoramic flight experience. Visitors can book scenic glider tours, where experienced pilots guide them over the ocean and lush landscapes. The long runway and open surroundings make Dillingham an ideal location for these non-powered flights.
Due to its combination of adventure sports, general aviation, and historical significance, Dillingham Airfield remains a unique and beloved aviation site on Oahu.
