MiG-15UTI Jet Trainer

The MiG-15UTI had its roots in the flight training system developed in the Soviet Union in the 1930s, in which a two-seat variant of a combat aircraft is used as the lead-in trainer before conversion to the single-seat version. The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15UTI (NATO reporting name: 'Midget') is a two-seat, dual-control MiG-15 jet trainer developed by Mikoyan-Gurevich OKB.
The MiG-15UTI had its roots in the flight training system developed in the Soviet Union in the 1930s, in which a two-seat variant of a combat aircraft is used as the lead-in trainer before conversion to the single-seat version. It remained the sole Warsaw Pact advanced jet trainer well into the 1970s, because Mikoyan-Gurevich never mass-produced the transition training versions of the later MiG-17 'Fresco' or MiG-19 'Farmer'.
The MiG-15UTI had good flight characteristics; with the Klimov RD-45F engine it produces up to 5,000 pounds of thrust, enabling level speed at sea level to reach 1,050 km/h.
A noticeable change from the MiG-15 is tandem cabins with two-piece canopies. Some variants produced from the MiG-15bis fitted the Klimov VK-1A engine with thrust increased to 5,900 pounds for better performing manoeuvres, but the new engine has a higher fuel combustion rate and less internal fuel tank capacity, which reduces flight endurance and range.
Other modifications include hydro-booster aileron control to help the aircraft keep a high roll rate when manoeuvring. It also has modified avionics for communication and navigation, similar to the MiG-17 and MiG-19.
The MiG-15UTI had been operated by military aviation users in most Communist satellite nations when it finally retired during the 1990s. Some aircraft sold to civil aviation owners in a new role become part of the international 'Warbird' scene.
Now Bear Studios takes this flight legend aircraft into MSFS world!

This unique aircraft started development in the mid 2000s as a Piper PA-18 and then made its public reveal in various Super Cub Forums. The aircraft gets its name from its unique “pusher-puller” set of in-line Rotax 9 series engines. It can often be seen equipped with a custom built belly pod that doubles as an auxiliary fuel tank. A notable feature of the aircraft’s design included a large bubble canopy, offering the pilot a stunning view from the cockpit. Other design elements included a fully actuating horizontal stabilizer for trim, 35” bush tires equipped for off-airport operations, and automatic leading edge slats on the primary wing surface in addition to large spoilerons that greatly assist roll rate during flight. The DoubleEnder also featured a fully free-castering tailwheel that allowed for precise ground maneuvering in very tight spaces; perfect for sandbars in the backcountry. Our digital recreation of such an iconic aircraft seemed fitting for our team as our current portfolio consists heavily of some of the more eccentric airframe designs. Our past projects take a heavy emphasis on STOL/Bush aircraft and our goal with the DoubleEnder was to produce the most accurate digital recreation of this bird with all the current information publicly available. This project is considered a “flagship” release with heavy emphasis on systems depth, dynamic and reactive wear/tear that shows visually on the model in addition to affecting aircraft systems and handling. Packed into this package is a lot of the existing technology developed during the Wilga in addition to all new technology never seen before in any Got Friends product.

The ‘’Fork-tailed devil” inspired terror across Europe & the Pacific as not only a fighter, but a highly effective fighter-bomber, night fighter and long-range escort.
The Lightning is capable of speeds up to 414 mph and an excellent rate of climb, powered by its powerful twin Allison V-1710 Engines. The Allison engines drive a 3-bladed Curtiss Electric Constant-speed propeller, counter-rotating to eliminate yaw tendencies, generating up to 1600 HP in each engine at a 2:1 gear reduction ratio. Dogfight performance is improved drastically with the addition of innovative technology for its time, such as the hydraulically powered Aileron Boosters, Manoeuvre flaps and Dive Flaps.
Our simulation aims to bring to life each facet of the incredible P-38; from the unique flight dynamics excellently captured by GotGravel (our newest FlyingIron Team Member), the muffled roar of the twin engines; from the finesse of managing the complex engine & cooling systems down to the minute details of the electrical system.

Spitfire Mk IXc
A timeless legend, an icon, a hero and arguably one of the most beautiful aircraft to have ever existed. Designed to be a short-range, high-performance interceptor, the Spitfire is most famous for it's pivotal role in World War II & The Battle of Britain where it was a key weapon against Axis forces. Instantly recognizable by it's iconic elliptical wing, the Spitfire needs little introduction from us.

Key Features
3D Cockpit Model built from Heritage Flight Simulations incredibly detailed CAD Model The model is a perfect replica of the Spitfire Mk IX cockpit, down to the smallest detail, and is used for the production of HFS's amazing cockpit replica. This is of course backed up by our usual ultra-high Artwork standards across the entire aircraft - the in-game screenshots say more here than we ever could! Combined with the gorgeous scenery of MSFS, prepare to be blown away by just how good an old legend can look inside a modern simulator.
Professional Wwise Sound Design by an experienced Sound Engineer
This release marks our greatest achievement in sound design so far, by a long mile, thanks to the power of Wwise (the industry leader in game audio-engineering). All sounds have been professionally recorded from a real Spitfire Mk IX. We have splashed out here to obtain an exhaustive Spitfire sound pack, professionally recorded by an Audio studio for the purpose of simulation & game development. It has been worth it! The audio experience is incredibly immersive and enhances the experience significantly!
Extensively researched, detailed and realistic Flight Model
Asobo has developed an enormously complex, detailed and realistic set of Flight Modelling tools that we have fully implemented to build our Spitfire FM from the ground up. Our experience in developing our Spitfire Mk IX for X-plane 11, as well as our recent experience developing Flight Models inside 3 different simulation platforms, has allowed us to quickly build a highly accurate Flight Model that not only flies 'by the numbers', but just feels damn good.
Realistic Start-up Procedures, Failures and Flight Systems
Simulated to function as faithfully as possible to the real aircraft; you will need to start-up, operate and fly the aircraft just as a real Spitfire pilot would have all those years ago. Custom failures enforce this realism – exceeding operating limits or incorrectly operating the aircraft will result in appropriate failures.
Multiple Variants
Our Spitfire package includes both the Spitfire Mk IXc , as well as the unique clipped wing variant of the airframe, infamous for its unique look, significantly improved roll rate and slight speed increase.
