KBFI Boeing Field MSFS is a highly detailed scenery of Boeing Field, officially King County International Airport in Seattle, WA, USA. This product is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator. King County International Airport, commonly known as Boeing Field (IATA: BFI, ICAO: KBFI, FAA LID: BFI), is a public-use airport situated just south of Seattle's central business district. Established in 1928, it's one of the oldest operating airfields in the United States and was Seattle's primary airport until the opening of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 1944. Boeing Field spans an area of 634 acres (257 ha) and is positioned at an elevation of 21 feet (6 m). The airport features two asphalt runways: 14R/32L, which is 10,007 by 200 feet (3,050 x 61 m), and 14L/32R, measuring 3,709 by 100 feet (1,131 x 30 m). Boeing Field has played a crucial role in the Boeing Company's history. In the 1960s, the initial assembly of the Boeing 737 aircraft took place at Boeing Field because the Renton factory was at capacity with the production of the Boeing 707 and 727 models. After completing 271 aircraft, the production was moved to Renton in late 1970. The airport also features facilities for final preparations and delivery of Boeing 737 aircraft after their first test flights, including a paint hangar and flight test facilities. Boeing Field features two primary runways: 14R/32L and 14L/32R. These runways cater to a diverse range of aircraft, from light single-engine planes to large commercial jets. The airfield is equipped with a modern control tower, multiple hangars, a terminal building, and extensive maintenance facilities. It serves a variety of aviation needs, including commercial, cargo, military, and general aviation. One of the airport's key attractions is the Museum of Flight, which is a remarkable institution dedicated to the history and science of aviation and space flight. Established in 1965, it has grown into one of the largest and most significant air and space museums in the world. This museum offers a rich exploration of human flight, from the earliest dreams of soaring in the sky to the complex realities of modern space exploration. The museum's collection boasts over 150 aircraft and spacecraft, along with thousands of artifacts, photographs, and documents. One of the highlights of the collection is the original Boeing 747 prototype, which revolutionized long-distance air travel. Also on display is an ex-British Airways Concorde, one of the few places in the world where visitors can experience this icon of supersonic travel. Beyond these headliners, the museum's exhibits span a wide range of aviation history. These include World War I and II fighter planes, early commercial airliners, and a growing array of space exploration vehicles. The personal stories of pilots, engineers, and passengers bring these artifacts to life, offering insights into the human side of air and space travel. Boeing's presence at the airport is marked by the Boeing Delivery Center , primarily focused on the final stages of aircraft delivery for Boeing’s commercial airplanes. Located near Seattle, Washington, this facility is where Boeing completes the handover of its newly manufactured aircraft to customers. The main activities at the Delivery Center involve final preparations of aircraft after they leave Boeing's manufacturing sites. This includes conducting final inspections, implementing customer-specific customizations, and, occasionally, performing additional flight tests. Customers, typically airlines or private buyers, visit the Delivery Center to inspect their new aircraft before taking delivery. This inspection is a crucial part of the aircraft purchase process, ensuring that the specifications and quality meet the purchaser's requirements. The facility is equipped to handle various Boeing models and is designed to cater to the needs of different customers. The Boeing Delivery Center plays a significant role in Boeing's supply chain, marking the final step in the aircraft manufacturing process before airplanes enter service. It is an essential part of Boeing's overall operation, facilitating the transition of aircraft from manufacturing to active use by airlines and other operators around the world. Boeing Field also serves as a key testing and delivery site for Boeing aircraft. New models and variants undergo rigorous flight testing procedures at the airport, taking advantage of its facilities and airspace. The airport's strategic location and infrastructure make it ideal for these critical phases of aircraft development and delivery.

LROP - Bucharest Otopeni Airport v2
Bucharest-Henri Coandă Airport, also known as Bucharest-Otopeni Airport (IATA: OTP, ICAO: LROP), is the main airport serving the city of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It is named after Henri Coandă (1886-1972), an engineer, scientist and pioneer of Romanian aerodynamics. In the area where the airport is located today there was a military facility with a 1,200-metre runway, used between 1940 and 1944 by the Third Reich Air Force and then, from the end of World War II to 1965 by the Romanian Air Force. In 1965, it became clear that Bucharest’s only civil airport, Bucharest Băneasa Airport (now Aurel Vlaicu International Airport), would no longer be sufficient to withstand the increasing air traffic, and a new airport was decided. The choice fell on the existing military structure of Otopeni: the works lasted about 4 years and focused on the construction of the passenger terminal and the extension of the runway to 3,500 meters. In 1969, the first civilian flights began. A new development occurred in 1986, with the inauguration of the second runway, of equal size and parallel to the previous one, which allowed to reach the capacity of 35 air movements per hour. In September 2004, the airport’s name was changed to Henri Coandă, a pioneer of aviation, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of civil aviation operations. In the three-year period 2008-2011 the construction of the new terminal was completed and in 2012 the construction of the new departure terminal, equipped with a new baggage handling system. Recently the construction of a new railway-metro line that connects the main railway station (Gara de Nord) with Otopeni airport. Last year the apron #2 has been completely redone, with many new parking places. The two-terminal areas are linked by regular internal and external bus services. Terminal A opened in 2012 to the east of Terminal B and is used for the servicing of business and private aviation. The new terminal B commenced its operations on 3 May 2018. The terminal is connected by an interterminal underground passage with Sheremetyevo's southern terminals and the Aeroexpress railway station. Most of Russia consists of vast stretches of plains that are predominantly steppe to the south and heavily forested to the north, with tundra along the northern coast. Russia has about 1300 airports. Moscow is the capital city and the most populous federal subject of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific center in Russia and Eastern Europe. According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has the largest number of billionaire residents in the world, has been ranked as the second most expensive city in the world by Mercer and is one of the world's largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network and is also one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world according to the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index. Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth, the second-most populous city in Europe after Istanbul and the 8th largest city proper in the world, as well as the largest amongst high-income economies.
Originally established in 1147 as a minor town, Moscow grew to become a prosperous and powerful city that served as the capital of the Grand Duchy that bears its namesake. When the Grand Duchy of Moscow evolved into the Tsardom of Russia, Moscow still remained as the political and economic center for most of the Tsardom's history. When the Tsardom was reformed into the Russian Empire, the capital was moved from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, diminishing the influence of the city. The capital was then moved back to Moscow following the Russian Revolution and the city was brought back as the political centre of the Russian SFSR and the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union dissolved, Moscow remained as the capital city of the contemporary and newly established Russian Federation.
