At Sunset Strip, it's all about reconnecting with nature. Enjoy the tranquility of Finley Lake, spot bald eagles or hop in a Juice Goose and explore the nearby Red Bluff Trails to grab a meal at the nearby Hungry Bear food truck.
This strip is a fantastic place to fly in from other //42 properties, such as Bluffers Hill, Sharktooth Ridge, Hogsback Ranch, or Mr. Goodbar.

It is a hub for Alaska Airlines and an important cargo airport located conveniently between the USA and Asia. In this great state roads are scarce and limited to the major cities. The vast wilderness can only be reached by aircraft, often only by floatplane or small aircraft equipped for off-airport landings. And Anchorage International Airport ‘Ted Stevens’ is at the center of much of this aviation. Add the violent weather and the long hours of darkness in the winter and you end up with an airport that is in every way remarkable and well worth a superb rendering for Flight Simulator. Right next to PANC, via a taxiway connection crossing several streets, you can find Lake Hood – the largest seaplane base in the world. Next to Lake Hood there is a dirt strip “Z41” used by aircraft that have tundra equipment attached (special wheels to enable landing on unpaved strips in the wilderness).

The special airfield of Norden-Norddeich with its ICAO registry EDWS is located on the northernmost stretch of mainland of the Landkreis Aurich, northern Germany. Norden-Norddeich provides an important access point to the East Frisian Islands and is home to the HTM company, responsible for transporting personnel and materials to offshore wind farms like Alpha Ventus. In the future, the aerial rescue organization NHC Northern Helicopter will also use Norden-Norddeich as its base of operations for... The special airfield of Norden-Norddeich with its ICAO registry EDWS is located on the northernmost stretch of mainland of the Landkreis Aurich, northern Germany. Norden-Norddeich provides an important access point to the East Frisian Islands and is home to the HTM company, responsible for transporting personnel and materials to offshore wind farms like Alpha Ventus. In the future, the aerial rescue organization NHC Northern Helicopter will also use Norden-Norddeich as its base of operations for transporting injured personnel from the wind farms to mainland hospitals in the area.
The airfield is operated by the FLN FRISIA (“Inselflieger”), transporting tourists and island workers to the East Frisian Islands (and Heligoland in the summer) on scheduled flights, using multiple Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander. It features a 720-meter-long and 20-meter-wide asphalt runway – unusually oriented north to south and therefore often requiring spectacular landing maneuvers due to crosswinds.

Aguenar Airport (DAAT), also known as Tamanrasset Airport or Hadj Bey Akhamok Airport, is a mixed use civilian and military airport in southern Algeria near the city of Tamanrasset. The surrounding region features beautiful desert and mountain landscapes and its location in the middle of the Sahara makes it an excellent stopover during any trip across Africa.
This Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 rendition was created based on the few available photos and satellite imagery. It features three bespoke terminal and tower buildings that were recently constructed or renovated: the main passenger terminal, the control tower and the small building in-between. Adjacent to the airport is an Algerian military base where many buildings were enhanced or added along with carefully edited terrain textures. Enhanced roads, fencing around the entire airport perimeter and hundreds of objects provide a rich backdrop during takeoffs, landing or sightseeing flights. Custom objects including realistic Algerian Air Force aircraft are included for an authentic feel. A nearby solar plant and an ancient tomb POI enhance the region.
The airport itself features two ILS, all ground services, realistic runways and taxi lines based on satellite imagery, ravamped gate numbering, taxi lighting and taxi signs.
